Danielle Leong is chief scientific officer at King-Devick Technologies, a medical software company in Oakbrook Terrace. The company’s sideline concussion screening, the King-Devick test, is in association with Mayo Clinic. Leong has co-authored more than 15 peer-reviewed articles relative to sideline screening for concussions and concussion management in addition to determining the progression of disease in neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and multiple sclerosis. She also has been instrumental in designing and implementing eye-movement-related products to help teach reading in elementary schools. For the last several years, Leong has helped conduct seminars at the American Academy of Neurology’s annual meetings. She is an assistant clinical professor at the Illinois Eye Institute and mentors students and young clinicians.
